At the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, Mindy Kaling addressed the criticism surrounding Meghan Markle’s forthcoming Netflix cooking series, “With Love, Meghan,” set to premiere on January 15. Kaling, who appears on the show, described it as “probably one of the most glamorous moments of my life.”
In her interview, Kaling remarked, “I just feel like people get mad about stuff that feels unnecessary. And a waste of time, maybe.” She also praised Markle’s culinary skills, noting that the recipes featured on the show are “really accessible.”

“With Love, Meghan” features Markle preparing dishes using ingredients from her garden and includes appearances by celebrity friends like Kaling. The series aims to offer viewers a glimpse into Markle’s life and passions.
Despite the criticism, Kaling emphasized the positive aspects of the show and her collaboration with Markle. She described the experience as “just nice to have someone else cooking for me,” especially after welcoming her third child.
