Migos Rapper Takeoff, 28 shot dead in Houston
Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball has been fatally shot in a cafe at Houston in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The rapper was part of the band Migos.
The singer was killed at a bowling alley where he was playing side with uncle Quavo, also a band member of Migos. According to reports the rapper got into a verbal argument with the shooter, at which point the perpetrator took his gun and open fired.
Migos, made their debut in 2013 with the single “Versace”. Following the success of their debut single the band went on to release several singles which included Fight Night and Stir Fry.
Yung Rich Nation , the debut album of the band was released in 2015. Their was rumours of rift between the members floated around but none of the trio gave out and confirmed if it.
In 2018 Takeoff release his solo album The Last Rocket which debuted at No 4 in the US. Culture III, released in 2021 was the last album that Migos released.
