Marvel Announce Documentary on the Legendary Stan Lee on Disney+
On Wednesay, Marvel and Disney through their social media accounts announced that ‘ The Stan Lee Documentary” would be aired in 2023. The caption read – ‘ 100 years of dreaming. 100 years of creating. 100 years of Stan Lee.’

The Marvel website read – ‘ In celebration today of the legendary Stan Lee’s 100th birthday today, it was announced that a documentary on the life of Stan Lee will be coming to Disney+ in 2023. Today, on what would have been Stan Lee’s 100th birthday, we celebrate his legacy as the co-creator of such legendary characters as Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Thor, Silver Surfer, Ant-Man, Nick Fury, The Avengers and hundreds more. We’ve seen Stan in the pages of Marvel Comics as well as on screen with Marvel Studios’ many cameos. ‘
In collaboration with others at Marvel, with co-writers/artists Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko—he co-created iconic characters, including superheroes Spider-Man, the X-Men, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Ant-Man, the Wasp, the Fantastic Four, Black Panther, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, the Scarlet Witch, and Black Widow.
According to Variety, Genius Brands International established a new online store with three limited-edition Lee-branded collections earlier this month to celebrate Lee’s 100th birthday.
