Acclaimed South Indian Actress Set to Expand Bollywood Footprint Alongside Leading Man
Keerthy Suresh, renowned for her versatility in South Indian cinema, is poised to further establish her presence in Bollywood. Following her Hindi debut in Atlee’s Baby John, Keerthy is reportedly in discussions to headline a new Hindi romantic comedy. In addition to this potential collaboration, Keerthy is set to star in Akka, a revenge thriller produced by Yash Raj Films. Set in the fictional South Indian city of Pernuru during the 1980s, the series delves into a matriarchal underworld led by formidable female gangsters. Keerthy portrays the leader of this sisterhood, whose dominance is threatened by an outsider, played by Radhika Apte.
