Katrina Kaif’s Spy Thriller ‘Tiger 3’ Smashes Box Office Records, Earns Praise from Father-in-law Sham Kaushal and Husband Vicky Kaushal

In a remarkable feat, the box office has been set ablaze by the roaring success of Katrina Kaif’s latest venture, ‘Tiger 3,’ featuring Salman Khan in the lead role. The film not only shattered box office records but also garnered commendation from within the family circle. The actor’s father-in-law, renowned action director Sham Kaushal, recently shared his thoughts on the film’s gripping action sequences, particularly those featuring Katrina.

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Katrina revealed that her father-in-law, Sham Kaushal, expressed immense joy and pride at the praise heaped upon Zoya’s action scenes in the spy thriller. Quoting him, she said, “The love and support I have got from my family is just so special. Sham ji, my father-in-law, is a very senior action director, so he was the happiest to hear praises for Zoya’s action scenes. He said, ‘You have made me very proud. Everyone is saying you do action so well’. So that was really special for me.”

Adding another layer of appreciation, Katrina disclosed that even her husband, Vicky Kaushal, thoroughly enjoyed the film and applauded the portrayal of Zoya’s character in ‘Tiger 3.’ According to Katrina, Vicky remarked that it didn’t matter who played the role; what truly stood out was the consistent character development throughout the film. The actress shared, “Vicky Kaushal also loved the film, and he said that Zoya’s character was well presented in the film. It didn’t matter if it was a particular actor, but the way the character had a graph that stayed constant throughout the film was very interesting. Also, the love and support that came for ‘Tiger 3’ made this Diwali much more special.”

Reflecting on her groundbreaking role as Zoya in the movie, Katrina expressed her pride in portraying the first female spy of the YRF Spy Universe. In a previous statement, she described Zoya as a character who embodies fierceness, courage, loyalty, and a commitment to humanity.
