Exciting Filming Progress with Major Schedules Completed in Andaman, Ooty, and Kanyakumari

Karthik Subbaraj and Suriya are working together on their highly anticipated film, Suriya 44. The production is advancing smoothly, with the team recently wrapping up a significant shooting schedule in the Andaman Islands. Following this, the crew moved to Ooty for a temporary schedule, which has now been completed, and they are heading to Kanyakumari for the remaining major shooting segments.

In Ooty, the team filmed a large-scale song sequence featuring Suriya and numerous dancers in a vibrant dance routine. This song is expected to be the film’s first single and is anticipated to be released soon.

The Kanyakumari schedule is set to last for a few weeks, with the production progressing swiftly. The filmmakers previously unveiled Suriya’s initial look in a retro-style appearance, hinting at his versatile role in the upcoming movie.

Suriya 44 is a gangster action drama featuring an impressive ensemble cast, including Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran, Sujith Shankar, Thamizh, Ramachandran Durairaj, and Prem Kumar. Pooja Hegde, who was initially slated to work with Suriya on the shelved project Aruva, plays the female lead in this film, marking her first collaboration with the actor.

Meanwhile, Suriya’s next major release, Kanguva, directed by Siruthai Siva, is set for a pan-Indian release on October 10. This historical action drama is eagerly awaited by fans and promises to be a major box office event.
