Actor Karthi is reportedly in discussions to collaborate with veteran comedian Vadivelu for the first time in his upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘Karthi 29’. Directed by Thamizh, known for his acclaimed work in ‘Taanakkaran’, the film is expected to be a raw and rustic gangster drama.

Vadivelu, who recently received praise for his mature performance in ‘Maamannan’, is in talks to play a significant role in this project. If finalized, this collaboration will mark the first on-screen partnership between Karthi and Vadivelu, generating significant excitement among fans.

The film is being produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, with production having commenced two months ago. The team plans to shoot the majority of the film in Rameswaram. Cinematographer S.R. Kathir has been brought on board to capture the film’s visuals.
