Karan Singh Grover Explains Decision to Protect Daughter Devi’s Privacy

In a recent interview with India Today, actor Karan Singh Grover shed light on the choice he and Bipasha Basu made regarding not revealing their daughter Devi’s face to the public. Grover emphasized that they have not obtained Devi’s permission to showcase her face, hence they’ve opted to keep it private. He mentioned that Devi often warmly greets random individuals they encounter during their travels.

“Bipasha has rightly pointed out that we don’t have Devi’s consent to unveil her face. Until we have that, we won’t do it, and it’s completely understandable,” said Grover. He expressed gratitude towards paparazzi and others for respecting their decision, stating, “Everyone has been incredibly understanding. They know us, and we know them, so they respect our wish to protect our baby’s privacy.”

Grover also shared an amusing anecdote, revealing Devi’s natural inclination to greet people. “It’s not like we’re hiding her face forcibly. She’s always eager to say ‘Hi’ to everyone she meets, be it at the airport or anywhere else. Sometimes I have to tell her, ‘Devi, please stop it’,” he chuckled.

Additionally, Grover opened up about Devi’s health journey in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. Despite being only 14 months old, she underwent open-heart surgery due to being born with two holes in her heart. Reflecting on her resilience, Grover remarked, “She’s a fighter. She may be the smallest, but she’s the fiercest. Her strength and determination inspire us every day.”
