Late Director Sangeeth Sivan’s Final Film Promises a Blend of Laughter and Chills as ‘Golmaal’ Duo Returns in Hindi Remake of ‘Romancham
The much-anticipated teaser for Kapkapiii, an upcoming horror-comedy, has been unveiled, offering audiences a delightful mix of frights and fun. Starring Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade, the film marks the final directorial venture of the late Sangeeth Sivan, renowned for his work on Kya Kool Hain Hum and Apna Sapna Money Money. Set to release on May 23, 2025, Kapkapiii is the Hindi adaptation of the 2023 Malayalam hit Romancham .
The teaser introduces viewers to a quirky group of friends who, after dabbling with a Ouija board, inadvertently invite supernatural chaos into their lives. Balancing slapstick humor with eerie moments, the film plays on its playful tagline, “Aatma Ji Darshan Do Na,” promising both laughs and goosebumps.
Kapoor and Talpade, reuniting after their successful stint in the Golmaal series, showcase their impeccable comic timing, turning a haunted house scenario into a comedic escapade. Talpade, reflecting on the collaboration, likened working with Kapoor and Sivan to teaming up with family, emphasizing the matured performances that come with experience .
