According to Deadline, who broke the story, Jeremy Renner is in “critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather related accident while plowing snow earlier today,” his spokesperson told Deadline on Sunday.

The star of movies like The Hurt Locker, Avengers Endgame , TV series Hawkeye was ploughing snow at his home in Reno.

According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, Renner has a home in the area, near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, about 25 miles from Reno. The region saw a winter storm hit on New Year’s Eve that resulted in 35,000 homes across Northern Nevada’s Washoe, Carson, Douglas, Storey and Lyon counties losing power as of this morning, according to the paper.

The actor representative confirmed this to Variety – “We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather related accident while plowing snow earlier today, “His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care.”

The actor is currently starring in the Paramount+ series Mayor of Kingstown, whose second season will premiere on the streaming service on January 15,2023.

He recently also teased on a new series on Disney+ named Renner Vations. Not much details about this are known at the moment though.
