Janhvi Kapoor Shares Heartwarming BTS Photos from “Mr. & Mrs. Mahi” Set

Ahead of the film’s much-anticipated release, Janhvi Kapoor delights fans with candid moments and dance clips

Janhvi Kapoor recently shared behind-the-scenes photos from the set of her highly anticipated movie “Mr. & Mrs. Mahi.” The images radiate pure affection and joy. One notable photo features Janhvi and co-star Rajkummar Rao recreating Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic pose. Another snapshot captures Rajkummar pulling a funny face while Janhvi beams at the camera. Accompanying the photos, Janhvi captioned, “Mr and Mrs Mahi ki kaahani, kuch tasveero ki jubani,” highlighting the story of their characters through these images.

In her enthusiastic promotion of the film, Janhvi also posted a video clip a few days ago, showcasing her dancing to “Dekhha Tenu.” Dressed in a pastel-colored anarkali, Janhvi moves gracefully, enchanting viewers. She captioned the video, “Dekhha Tenu hits me right in the feels.” Her best friend Orry commented, “Beauty, grace represents all the Indian states,” while fans chimed in with praises like “Best” and “Beautiful.”

“Dekhha Tenu” is a modern rendition of the classic song “Say Shava Shava” from Karan Johar’s 2001 film “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.” The original song, crafted by Aadesh Shrivastava with lyrics by Sameer Anjaan and vocals by Udit Narayan, has been reimagined by Jaani with vocals by Mohammad Faiz.

Initially set to premiere in April, the sports drama “Mr. & Mrs. Mahi” will now hit theaters on May 31, 2024.
