Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is currently recovering from a “severe case of food poisoning,” according to her father, Boney Kapoor. Mr. Kapoor confirmed the news with ETimes, stating that Janhvi is expected to spend one to two days in the hospital.

Despite this setback, Janhvi is looking forward to the release of her upcoming film, Ulajh. The trailer for the film, which dropped earlier this week, features Janhvi as Suhana Bhatia, a young and ambitious diplomat.

The movie explores Suhana’s journey as she navigates the challenges of her career, including accusations of nepotism. The trailer showcases Janhvi’s character defying these stereotypes and emerging stronger.

Ulajh, directed by Sudhanshu Saria, also stars actors like Adil Hussain and Rajesh Tailang. The film is slated for release on August 2nd.
