In a delightful Instagram post, producer Karan Johar hinted at the long-awaited reunion of Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan on screen after their previous collaboration in “Bawaal.” Sharing glimpses from the auspicious pooja ritual marking the commencement of filming for “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,” Johar ignited excitement among fans.

The ceremony, captured in a recently released video, showcased the ensemble cast including Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, and others, adorned in resplendent traditional attire, partaking in the sacred rituals alongside Johar himself.

The announcement of “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari” earlier this year set the stage for anticipation, with a post teasing, “Our Sanskari is on his way to get his Kumari! Steering the directorial helm is filmmaker Shashank Khaitan, known for his previous collaborations with both Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. Khaitan, who directed the Dulhania trilogy featuring Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, marks his reunion with the actors in this eagerly awaited project. Additionally, Khaitan previously collaborated with Kapoor in her feature debut, “Dhadak.”
