Actress Shares Heartwarming Moments from Muppathammman Temple Ahead of New Film Release

Janhvi Kapoor, currently promoting her upcoming sports drama film “Mr. & Mrs. Mahi,” recently made a meaningful visit to the Muppathammman temple in Chennai. This visit was particularly poignant as it was her late mother Sridevi’s favorite place in the city. Janhvi shared enchanting images from her visit, where she donned an elegant lehenga, her hair flowing loosely, and adorned with beautiful jewelry.

In her social media post, Janhvi wrote, “Visited Muppathamman temple for the first time. Mumma’s most favourite place to visit in Chennai.” The post quickly garnered a flood of compliments in the comments section, including a humorous remark from actor Varun Dhawan, who wrote, “Masi whose actually your sister.”

A few days earlier, Janhvi shared behind-the-scenes pictures from the shoot of “Mr. & Mrs. Mahi.” These photos radiate pure affection, with one capturing Janhvi and co-star Rajkummar Rao striking a pose reminiscent of a famous Shah Rukh Khan scene. Another photo features Janhvi smiling at the camera while Rajkummar makes a funny face. Janhvi captioned these pictures, “Mr and Mrs Mahi ki kahani, kuch tasveero ki jubani.”

Additionally, Janhvi gave fans a glimpse into her serene Chennai home, which is available for rent on Airbnb. The home’s decor, dominated by white tones, exudes a peaceful ambiance. She captioned this post, “This is where I go to escape. You can request to book it now on @airbnb.”

Janhvi is set to grace the big screen again with “Mr. & Mrs. Mahi,” directed by Sharan Sharma, who made his debut with “Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl,” also starring Janhvi. This film marks her second collaboration with star Rajkummar Rao.
