Jackie Shroff reuniting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Sanjay Leela Bhansali continues to receive praise for his most recent film, “Gangubai Kathiyawadi,” which stars Alia Bhatt. A campaign for the movie’s 2023 Bafta Awards in all categories just got underway. Bhansali was already working on his next project, “Heera Mandi,” in the meantime.

Netflix had announced the collaboration with Bhansali in August of last year. Richa Chadha, Fardeen Khan, Manisha Koirala, and Sonakshi Sinha are reportedly cast in the highly ambitious movie. According to reports, Richa was also studying Kathak for the movie. However, there hasn’t yet been a formal announcement on the cast. Jackie Shroff has now reportedly joined the cast of “Heera Mandi,” according to a report in Pinkvilla. The actor is still renowned for his legendary performance as “Chunni Babu” in Bhansali’s “Devdas.” A significant portion of the movie has apparently already been shot, and the remainder will follow soon.
