Imtiaz Ali Announces New Series ‘O Saathi Rey’ Featuring Arjun Rampal, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Avinash Tiwary

Acclaimed filmmaker Imtiaz Ali is set to collaborate with Netflix on a new romantic drama series tentatively titled ‘O Saathi Rey’. The series boasts a stellar cast, including Arjun Rampal, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Avinash Tiwary in pivotal roles. Imtiaz Ali will serve as the writer and showrunner, while his brother, Sajid Ali, known for directing ‘Laila Majnu’ (2018), will helm the project. The series is being produced under Imtiaz Ali’s banner, Window Seat Films.

‘O Saathi Rey’ is described as an intense, emotionally charged romantic drama that explores the intricacies of an extramarital affair. Arjun Rampal and Aditi Rao Hydari are expected to portray a married couple, with Avinash Tiwary playing a character who disrupts their relationship. He is working on a romantic comedy titled ‘Idiots of Istanbul’, starring Fahadh Faasil and Triptii Dimri, and a period love story featuring Diljit Dosanjh, Vedang Raina, and Naseeruddin Shah.
