Huma Qureshi speaks on Body Positivity

The Harper’s Bazaar cover most recently featured actor Huma Qureshi. Huma went for a short black dress, a tied-back hairstyle, earrings, and high heels for the cover. She posed for the camera while sitting in a chair.

Among other things, Huma discussed womanhood, her journey toward self-love, and dealing with inner conflicts. With the magazine, she also discussed the “masculine gaze.”

In an interview with the publication, Huma stated, “This Bazaar India cover is so powerful for me and so strong because it is not just about being seductive and attractive, but also because it has not been portrayed via the male lens. It involves savouring my own physicality and femininity without catering to that gaze.

Huma’s next appearance will be in the second season of the political drama Maharani.
