Hritik Roshan heaps praise on ‘Kantara’ star Rishabh Shetty

Hrithik Roshan has added his name to the lengthy list of Bollywood celebrities who have been awestruck by the Kannada hit Kantara. The actor used social media late on Sunday night to praise the director and star Rishab Shetty as well as to express his enthusiasm for the movie. Hrithik’s tweet in appreciation of the movie was well-received by many of its viewers.

Hrithik tweeted on Sunday night, a few days after the movie’s Hindi version started streaming on OTT, “Learnt so much by watching #Kantara. The power of @shetty_rishab’s conviction makes the film extraordinary. Top notch storytelling, direction & acting.” Kantara, directed by Rishab, stars him in the lead along with Sapthami Gowda and Kishore. The film is rooted in the beliefs of coastal Karnataka and merges the local belief system with stories of land politics and man vs nature. The film has been critically acclaimed and commercially successful.
