Gulshan Devaiah Says He Was Caught Off Guard by Samantha Ruth Prabhu & Raj Nidimoru’s Wedding During Telugu Film Shoot
As Gulshan prepares for his Telugu debut with Maa Inti Bangaram, he reveals he only found out about Samantha and Raj’s marriage days after wrapping up scenes with her.

Actor Gulshan Devaiah is all set to step into Telugu cinema with Maa Inti Bangaram, a film that marks his first collaboration with superstar Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Directed by Nandini Reddy, the project has been steadily gaining attention as Samantha’s next major Telugu outing. However, while promoting the film, Gulshan shared an unexpected anecdote that left even him surprised. In a recent interaction, the actor admitted he had no clue about Samantha’s wedding to filmmaker Raj Nidimoru while he was shooting alongside her and only discovered the news days later through wedding pictures circulating online.
Gulshan revealed that he had wrapped up filming his portions with Samantha and returned home, completely unaware that such a major personal milestone was about to unfold in her life. It was only a few days later that he came across photographs from her wedding and was genuinely taken aback by the sudden revelation. The moment was particularly ironic for Gulshan, given that he has previously worked closely with Raj Nidimoru on the popular streaming series Guns & Gulaabs, where his portrayal of the eccentric Chaar Cut Aatmaram earned widespread appreciation.
Samantha and Raj’s relationship had been the subject of speculation for several years. The two first collaborated on The Family Man Season 2, where Samantha’s intense performance received critical acclaim, and later reunited for Citadel: Honey Bunny. Dating rumours began doing the rounds in 2023 but were largely brushed aside at the time. In 2024, the speculation gained momentum as the duo were frequently spotted together at public events, and Samantha began sharing pictures with Raj on social media, subtly fueling curiosity among fans.
The couple finally made their relationship official on December 1, 2025, when they tied the knot in a private ceremony held at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. Samantha later shared images from their intimate yogic wedding ritual on social media, confirming the news and drawing an outpouring of love from fans and industry colleagues alike. The ceremony was kept low-key, reflecting the couple’s preference for privacy over spectacle.
Meanwhile, Maa Inti Bangaram continues to generate interest, not only as Gulshan Devaiah’s Telugu debut but also as one of Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s most awaited upcoming projects. With filming underway and more details expected soon, the film is already being seen as an intriguing addition to both actors’ careers.
