First Song ‘Haanji’ Released for Upcoming Film ‘Thank You For Coming’

Here is the first song from the upcoming film Thank You For Coming starring Bhumi Pednekar. The song, titled Haanji, stars Bhumi, Shehnaaz Gill, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi as the five leads. Bhumi and Shehnaaz are still featured in the song more so than the rest.

Bhumi and her friends go out to a bar where Haanji is filmed to party. Actor Karan Kundra, who is also with them, is seen giving the females shots and drinks. Shehnaaz is wearing black PVC pants and a blue shirt, while Bhumi is wearing a red outfit. They start off dancing in the middle of a sea of whirling butts, and then they move the party to the bar. True, they ascend the bar and perform some dance movements.

The movie, which Karan Boolani directed, will debut in theaters on October 6. On directing the movie, Karan previously stated, “I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by incredible women throughout my life, and I’m extremely proud to have directed this film. As a man, Thank You for Coming has taught me so much about the female experience around desire, love and acceptance. I hope that the audiences have as much fun watching the film as we had making it.”

Thank You for Coming, billed as a coming-of-age comedy, tells the tale of Kanika Kapoor, a single woman in her 30s played by Bhumi Pednekar, and her search for true love and pleasure. The script for the movie was written by Radhika Anand and Prashasti Singh, and it is directed by Karan.
