First Photos and Premiere Date revealed for Netflix’s ‘Fall of the House of Usher’

Netflix’s upcoming horror drama miniseries ‘Fall of the House of Usher’ has released its first images.

The eight-episode limited series, created by Mike Flanagan, is slated to premiere on the American streaming giant on October 12, 2023.

Based on the namesake Edgar Allan Poe’s classic short story and his other works, the series goes around the vicious siblings Roderick and Madeline Usher, who turned Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into an empire of riches, luxury, and power. However, old truths are revealed as the heirs to the Usher family begin dying at the hands of a mystery lady from their youth.

Bruce Greenwood plays the character of Roderick Usher, along with Mary McDonnell, who portrays Madeline Usher.

The long list of the cast of ‘Fall of the House of Usher’ also includes Carla Gugino, Carl Lumbly, Mark Hamill, Michael Trucco, T’Nia Miller, Paola Nuñez, Henry Thomas, Kyleigh Curran, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Kohli, Kate Siegel, Sauriyan Sapkota, Zach Gilford, Willa Fitzgerald, Katie Parker, Malcolm Goodwin, Crystal Balint, Aya Furukawa, Daniel Jun, Matt Biedel, Ruth Codd, Annabeth Gish, Igby Rigney, and Robert Longstreet.

Flanagan, who has also created ‘The Haunting of Hill House,’ ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor,’ and ‘Midnight Mass,’ has directed four episodes of the upcoming supernatural series, with Michael Fimognari directing the other four.

Trevor Macy, Mike Flanagan, Michael Fimognari, and Emmy Grinwis are the executive producers of ‘Fall of the House of Usher.’
