Dharma Productions Teams Up with ‘Marco’ Director Haneef Adeni for Multilingual Action Thriller
Karan Johar’s banner ventures into high-octane cinema with Adeni’s Bollywood debut; upcoming projects include ‘Nadaaniyan’ and ‘Tu Meri Main Tera’
Dharma Productions, led by Karan Johar, has announced a collaboration with acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Haneef Adeni, renowned for his recent hit ‘Marco’. This yet-to-be-titled project marks Adeni’s foray into Hindi cinema and promises to deliver a high-impact action spectacle. The film is set to be produced in Hindi and several other languages, aiming for a wide-reaching audience.
Film critic Taran Adarsh shared the news on social media platform X, highlighting the significance of this collaboration. While specific details about the cast and plot remain under wraps, the announcement has generated considerable excitement among fans and industry insiders.
In addition to this venture, Karan Johar is actively working on multiple projects. ‘Nadaaniyan’, a romantic film directed by Shauna Gautam, will introduce Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, alongside Khushi Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, Mahima Chaudhary, and Jugal Hansraj. This film is slated for release on Netflix.
Furthermore, Johar is producing ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’, a romantic comedy featuring Kartik Aaryan. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, known for ‘Satya Prem Ki Katha’, the film is scheduled for a global theatrical release in 2026.
