Creed IV Confirmed: Michael B. Jordan to Direct as Producer Irwin Winkler Reveals Plans

In a recent revelation at Deadline’s Contenders Film: Los Angeles event, Irwin Winkler, the producer behind Creed III, disclosed that the highly anticipated Creed IV is officially in the works. The announcement came with the confirmation that Michael B. Jordan, the franchise’s star and director of Creed III, is set to helm the upcoming installment.

During a panel discussion focused on Creed III, Winkler shared insights into the project, stating, “We are planning to do Creed IV right now. We have a really good story [and] a really good plot. We got a little delayed because of the strikes, but about a year from now, we’re going into pre-production.”

Winkler further affirmed Jordan’s return to the director’s chair, praising his stellar work on Creed III, stating, “He will be. He did such a great job — he was comfortable with the camera.”

Reflecting on the success of Creed III, Elizabeth Raposo, a panelist and producing partner, expressed satisfaction, saying, “[We’re] just glad that this one worked and people want to see more.”

Also present at the panel was writer Keenan Coogler, contributing to the discussion about the creative forces driving Creed III.
