Riverdale Star Takes on Iconic Role in Masters of the Universe

Camila Mendes, best known for her role as Veronica Lodge in the hit series “Riverdale,” is trading in her prep school attire for a warrior’s armor. The actress has joined the cast of the highly anticipated “Masters of the Universe” film, where she will portray the legendary character of Teela.

Mendes will share the screen with Nicholas Galitzine, who is set to embody the iconic He-Man. While plot details remain shrouded in secrecy, the film is expected to follow the classic storyline of Prince Adam’s transformation into the powerful He-Man to protect his home planet, Eternia, from the evil Skeletor.
