Father Shatrughan Sinha Delighted, Brothers Absent from Celebration

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with her longtime partner, Zaheer Iqbal, in a secret ceremony held on Sunday at her Bandra flat in Mumbai. The newlyweds celebrated with a lavish reception at Bastian, where Sonakshi’s parents, Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha, were present to join the festivities.

When asked about his feelings on his daughter’s wedding day, Shatrughan Sinha shared with Times Now, “Yeh bhi koi poochne ki baat hai? Every father waits for this moment when his daughter is given to her chosen groom. My daughter looks most happy with Zaheer. Unki jodi salamat rahe.”

Sonakshi’s brother, Luv Sinha, who was notably absent from the wedding, addressed his nonattendance in an interview with Hindustan Times. He said, “Please give it a day or two. I’ll respond to your question then if I feel I can. Thank you for asking.”

Despite their parents’ presence, Sonakshi’s twin brothers, Luv and Kush Sinha, did not attend the wedding or the reception. A source confirmed their absence, noting that the photographers only spotted the twins entering the premises at the very end of the event, which raised eyebrows.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal registered their marriage under the Special Marriage Act, marking the beginning of their new journey together. Wedding photos and videos have been circulating on social media, capturing the joy and celebration of the couple’s special day.
