‘Be Happy’ Starring Abhishek Bachchan and Inayat Verma Premieres on Prime Video March 14

Heartwarming Father-Daughter Dance Drama Directed by Remo D’Souza

Abhishek Bachchan’s latest film, Be Happy, is set to premiere on Prime Video on March 14. The movie features Inayat Verma as Bachchan’s daughter, marking their second collaboration after the 2020 Netflix comedy-drama Ludo. The announcement was accompanied by a poster shared on Instagram, depicting Bachchan and Verma seated on a bed, with Nora Fatehi posters adorning the wall.

The post’s caption read, “Why worry, when you can be happy #BeHappyOnPrime, March 14.” Director Remo D’Souza responded enthusiastically, commenting, “Yayy.”

In September, the filmmakers unveiled another poster showcasing Bachchan and Verma performing an aerial stunt. Be Happy narrates the touching story of a devoted single father and his daughter, blending themes of love, dreams, and family through music and dance.

Speaking to Variety, D’Souza expressed, “For Lizelle and me, Be Happy is a true passion project—a deeply moving story that celebrates the special bond between a father and daughter through the magic of music and dance. It’s a relationship that’s universal and transcends cultures, and we wanted to bring that emotion to life in a way that feels both authentic and uplifting.”

The film’s ensemble cast includes Nora Fatehi, Nassar, Johny Lever, and Harleen Sethi in pivotal roles. Produced by Lizelle Remo D’Souza under Remo D’Souza Entertainment, Be Happy promises to be a heartfelt addition to Hindi cinema.
