Actress Banita Sandhu has officially become part of the beloved Bridgerton series, playing Miss Malhotra in its third season, which premiered on Netflix today. To mark the occasion, Banita celebrated her birthday on Thursday by sharing behind-the-scenes photos from the set on Instagram.

“So grateful to have had the opportunity to immerse myself in the Bridgerton universe, being able to dress up and join the world of @juliaquinnauthor’s incredible characters,” she wrote. “Thank you @netflix and @shondaland for a wonderful experience that I will forever cherish. Wish I could keep the costumes though.”

Fans quickly flooded Banita’s Instagram comments with admiration and praise. “I gasped when I saw you, Miss Malhotra. You deserve so much love and appreciation; it’s just a start,” one admirer wrote. In addition to her professional success, Banita Sandhu also made headlines last October by making her relationship with singer AP Dhillon Instagram official. She posted a series of photos, including one with AP Dhillon sitting on the ground while Banita hovered over him from a bed, and another where they are seen holding hands with their backs to the camera.
