Animal Roars to Global Box Office Triumph, Sparks Speculation of Sequel

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s blockbuster film, “Animal,” has taken the world by storm, dominating global box office charts and leaving audiences in awe. The movie’s remarkable success is evident in its soaring box office receipts, and Saurabh Sachdeva, the actor portraying Abid, has garnered praise for his outstanding performance.
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Saurabh Sachdeva disclosed that, much like the general audience, he was unaware of the potential sequel to Animal until he experienced the film on the big screen. Expressing his surprise, he remarked, “Mujhe pata bhi nahi k second part banega k nahi banega [I don’t even know whether the second part will be made or not]. I also was surprised to see that.” His initial reaction mirrored that of many viewers, exclaiming, “What, this is what is happening!”
Saurabh Sachdeva extended his admiration for Animal’s leading man, Ranbir Kapoor, praising his captivating presence on set. He shared, “He is beautiful. Jab bhi mai set pe hota tha [Whenever I came on set], he was immediately on.” Sachdeva commended Kapoor’s unique approach to acting, emphasizing the actor’s instinctual method. “His body moves before his mind, and emotions move. So, I like those kinds of actors whose body reacts first, and then their emotion and mind always follow. I was like, ‘Wow’. I really admire him,” he added, highlighting Kapoor’s curiosity for delving into the essence of each character.
Discussing a one-on-one encounter with Ranbir, Saurabh Sachdeva revealed engaging conversations about life perspectives, career journeys, acting techniques, and invaluable lessons learned. He praised Kapoor’s insatiable curiosity, stating, “Ranbir had so much curiosity about it.”
Beyond his role in Animal, Saurabh Sachdeva has left his mark in various films, including “Housefull 4,” “Haddi,” and “Jaane Jaan.” The immense success of Animal and the buzz surrounding a potential sequel have only heightened Sachdeva’s profile in the film industry.
