Amitabh Bachchan took a trip down memory lane on Sunday, sharing a glimpse of his early career with fans on Instagram. In a reminiscent post, the veteran actor delved into the 1970s era of Bollywood, shedding light on the rigorous nature of action sequences during that time.

Sharing a throwback picture from the sets of his 1979 film “Mr Natwarlal,” Bachchan reminisced about the days when action scenes were filmed without the aid of modern safety measures. In the snapshot, he could be seen preparing for a daring stunt, poised to jump off a 30-foot cliff. Remarkably, there were no harnesses, face replacements, or visual effects involved. Instead, actors relied solely on their skills and luck, often landing on mattresses placed below. Reflecting on those times, Bachchan quipped, “Those were the days my friend.”
