Amitabh Bachchan Corrects Instagram Mistake with Grace

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan quickly acknowledges and amends a social media error, showcasing his humility and dedication

Veteran Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan recently made a minor error on social media, which he swiftly corrected. In an Instagram post, Bachchan compared a scene from his film Agneepath with a modern shot of himself avoiding the camera. He intended to highlight his enduring passion for cinema and his continuous hustle for work, even at his advanced age. However, some of his followers pointed out that the first video clip was from the movie Akayla, not Agneepath.

Acknowledging his mistake, Bachchan promptly issued a correction. He posted, “Apologies … that picture I posted of running saying from Agneepath .. wrong! It’s from AKAYLA. thank you well-wishers.”

Agneepath is one of Amitabh Bachchan’s most celebrated films. The story follows the protagonist’s journey into the Mumbai underworld to avenge his father’s death and rectify the injustices inflicted upon his family.

Notably, Bachchan had to re-dub his lines for Agneepath due to initial concerns that his voice did not suit the character. The film was later remade with Hrithik Roshan in the lead role, featuring performances by Sanjay Dutt, Rishi Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Kanika Tiwari, Om Puri, and Zarina Wahab. The remake also included a memorable cameo by Katrina Kaif in the popular song “Chikni Chameli.”
