Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Lead YRF’s First Female-Driven Spy Thriller ‘Alpha’, Set for Christmas 2025 Release

Yash Raj Films (YRF) is set to make cinematic history with ‘Alpha’, the first female-led installment in its acclaimed Spy Universe. Slated for a theatrical release on December 25, 2025, the film stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari as formidable intelligence agents embarking on a high-stakes mission to dismantle a global terrorist network. Bobby Deol takes on the role of the primary antagonist, while Anil Kapoor is also part of the ensemble cast.
Directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Aditya Chopra, ‘Alpha’ promises a sleek, action-packed narrative that spans multiple countries, including sequences shot in Mumbai, Kashmir, Poland, and Scotland. The film is poised to redefine the action genre in Indian cinema by placing strong female characters at its core.
