Ajay Devgn Clarifies Daughter Nysa’s Bollywood Aspirations Amid ‘Maa’ Trailer Launch

At the unveiling of Kajol’s mythological horror film ‘Maa’, producer Ajay Devgn addresses speculations about daughter Nysa’s acting debut, stating she currently has no interest in joining the film industry.

During the trailer launch event for the upcoming mythological horror film Maa in Mumbai, producer Ajay Devgn addressed questions regarding his daughter Nysa Devgn’s potential entry into Bollywood. When asked why Nysa was not cast in the film, Devgn responded, “At the moment, she is not interested in this kind of work,” indicating that she currently has no plans to pursue acting.

The event also featured lead actress Kajol, who portrays a mother battling supernatural forces to protect her daughter. She shared that the role deeply resonated with her maternal instincts, stating, “It’s any parent’s worst nightmare (to lose their child).”

Maa, directed by Vishal Furia and set in the universe of Shaitaan, is scheduled for theatrical release on June 27, 2025, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali.

While Nysa Devgn remains a prominent figure in social circles and on social media, her parents have consistently maintained that she is currently not interested in pursuing a career in films.
