New Song “Tuu” Highlights Their On-Screen Journey from Youthful Love to Mature Romance

Ajay Devgn and Tabu, who recently shared the screen in “Bholaa,” are set to reunite in the upcoming romantic action-thriller “Auro Mein Kahan Dum Tha.” This film, which promises a blend of classic romance and thrilling action, has captivated audiences with its newly released song, “Tuu.” Released on June 18, the song features Ajay, Tabu, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Sai Manjarekar, portraying the characters in their youth.

The song “Tuu,” composed by MM Keeravani, is a semi-lyrical exploration of desi romance. It beautifully captures the journey of Ajay and Tabu’s characters from their late teens to the present. The evocative lyrics by Manoj Muntashir delve into themes of love and sacrifice, encapsulating the essence of their atypical romantic relationship.

Shantanu and Sai portray the younger versions of Ajay and Tabu with remarkable depth, bringing to life the characters’ pain, struggle, separation, and eventual reunion. The song vividly depicts various stages of their love story, culminating in a visually stunning scene where Shantanu and Sai celebrate Holi, transitioning seamlessly to Tabu and Ajay reuniting amidst the festivities. This sequence evokes the nostalgic charm of 1990s Bollywood romance.

“Auro Mein Kahan Dum Tha” also stars Sayaji Shinde and Jimmy Shergill in pivotal roles. The film is written and directed by Neeraj Pandey, with co-production by Narendra Hirawat, Sangeeta Ahir, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Shital Bhatia, under the banner of Friday Filmworks. This much-anticipated film is scheduled for release on July 5.
