Actor and BJP Leader Mithun Chakraborty in Stable Condition After Health Scare

Renowned actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty’s health condition has stabilized, according to an official statement reported by PTI. The 73-year-old actor had been admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata after experiencing severe chest pain.
Hospital representatives informed PTI that Mithun is now on a soft diet and actively recovering, with full consciousness and orientation. Medical investigations are underway before his discharge, including an MRI scan.

Footage released by ANI on Sunday showed Mithun seated on his hospital bed, with a physician updating him on his condition in Hindi. West Bengal BJP chief Sukanta Majumdar also visited him during his hospital stay.
An official statement from the hospital revealed that Mithun has been diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (stroke), with complaints of weakness in his right upper and lower limbs upon admission.
The statement further detailed that Mithun was brought to the Emergency Department of Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals, Kolkata, around 9.40 am with these complaints.
