Abhishek Bachchan Returns Home to Housefull 5 Alongside Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh

The Bollywood star gears up for madcap comedy and a cruise adventure in the fifth installment of the popular franchise.

In the upcoming Housefull 5, Abhishek Bachchan is set to join forces once again with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, stepping into the realm of rib-tickling comedy. Scheduled to commence filming in August, this project marks a nostalgic return for Bachchan to the beloved Housefull series.

Having made his debut in the franchise with Housefull 3, where he portrayed the character Bunty, an aspiring rapper caught in comical predicaments, Bachchan expresses his excitement about reuniting with familiar faces and embarking on this hilarious journey once more. “One of my favorite comedy series is Housefull, and seeing it again feels like going home,” he shares.

Teaming up with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, Bachchan eagerly anticipates the laughter-filled camaraderie on set. Additionally, he looks forward to collaborating with Tarun Mansukhani again, after their successful partnership on Dostana. “This is going to be a lot of fun,” he exclaims.

Filming for Housefull 5 is set to take place aboard a cruise ship, adding an extra element of adventure to the production. Scheduled to kick off in the UK in August, the movie is slated for a worldwide release on June 6, 2025.

Expressing his enthusiasm for Bachchan’s return to the Housefull franchise, producer Sajid Nadiadwala praises the actor’s dedication, comic timing, and sincerity, believing they will enhance the film’s comedic appeal. “His dedication, comic timing, and sincerity will only elevate our film,” says Nadiadwala.
