You might have tried your regular recipes for hot chocolate, but here we’re sharing a really special recipe with you, so that no dullness can overshadow your happy day.

The ideal soothing beverage for watching a fantastic movie while curled up on the couch with a warm blanket and plush socks is hot chocolate.

It’s one of my personal favorites to do at this time of year, especially when the weather is so freezing.

A fantastic hot chocolate recipe should produce deep, rich chocolatey pleasure with each warm sip!
Real, high-quality chocolate is necessary for a hot chocolate beverage that is truly pleasurable.

Use of a gourmet chocolate bar is required for this recipe.

Let me warn you already, this drink is not your regular drink.

To make the hot chocolate, you will need the following ingredients:

● Dark chocolate: chopped 1 Bar
● Sugar – 2 tbsp
● Unsweetened cocoa powder- 2 tbsp
● Milk- 1 cup
● Corn starch- 1 tbsp

Procedure:

1. Take a bowl, add 1 cup of milk, chopped chocolate, 2 tbsp of cocoa powder, and sugar in it.

2. Heat the mixture until it melts. To prevent sticking, keep stirring it.

3. Take another small bowl, and add 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp of cornstarch. Add this slurry to the melted chocolate mixture. This will thicken the hot chocolate.

4. Let it boil a little. Make sure to adjust the thickness according to your preference. You can add milk to reduce the thickness.

Garnishing:

You can use a variety of toppings to garnish your hot chocolate. I prefer chocolate chips, and some rainbow sprinkles.

But, you can choose roasted marshmallows, roasted almonds, whipped cream, white choco chips, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, or Irish cream. You are free to explore your toppings.

*Replace 1 cup of milk with 1 cup of heavy cream or half & half to make hot chocolate that is richer and creamier.

And, voilà!! It’s done.
