Different types of Paratha stuffing

Parathas are famous in the Indian cooking world since they are suitable for all formal events and suitable for the typical lunchbox.

We are sharing these recipes of paratha, loaded with tons of different stuffings.

Stuffed Palak Paratha

Spinach might not be the tastiest veggie, but it sure contains a lot of potassium, iron and is a rich source of necessary proteins.

Ingredients:

● Mashed paneer/cottage cheese
● Spinach puree
● Ginger- garlic paste
● Chopped chillies
● Salt to taste
● Wheat flour
● Oil

Procedure:

1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add the spinach puree to the bowl, mix well.
2. Now, take the wheat flour and add water as needed, and prepare a dough for the paratha.
3. Make small balls from the dough. Stuff the balls with the prepared mixture. And roll them to make parathas.
4. Take a pan, spread some oil, and cook the paratha for 2 minutes each side.
5. Once they are golden in color, remove them from the pan.

Palak paratha is ready to be served.

Stuffed corn and cheese paratha

This is a very delicious recipe as it involves cheese.

Ingredients-

● Grated cheese
● Boiled corn
● Minced capsicum
● Mixed herbs
● Salt to taste
● Wheat flour

Procedure:

1. In a bowl add the wheat flour, and water as needed. Knead it and prepare a dough.
2. Stuffing is simple. In another bowl, add the grated cheese, boiled corn, minced capsicum, salt, and herbs. Make small balls from this mixture.
3. Fill the dough balls with this stuffing, and cook it on a heated pan.
4. The more cheese you stuff, the more cheesy your paratha will be.

After the paratha is cooked, you can serve it with your favorite dips.

Healthy Pink Paratha

Ingredients:

● Beetroot
● Wheat flour
● Red chilli powder
● Ajwain
● Butter

Procedure

1. Take roughly chopped beetroots. Fill a pan with some water, and boil the beetroot until it is soft. Let it cool for some time.
2. Blend it in a mixer to get the puree.
3. In another bowl, take wheat flour, beetroot puree, ajwain, salt, and red chili powder. Mix everything.
4. Now, gradually add water, and form a dough. Smudge some oil or butter on the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
5. Make small balls from the dough.
6. Roll the dough to make a paratha. You can make different shaped paratha, by cutting it in square or triangle.
7. Cook it on a buttery pan.

Serve it with curd.

Pizza paratha

Ingredients
● Chopped bell peppers
● Chopped onions
● Diced mushrooms (optional)
● Grated cheese
● Wheat flour
● Plain flour
● Mixed herbs
● Chili flakes

Procedure

1. In a bowl, mix wheat flour and plain flour together. Add a pinch of salt.
2. Now, in another bowl, mix all the dry ingredients. The pizza stuffing is ready. J nii
3. Make small balls from the dough, fill it with the prepared stuffing.
4. You can add extra cheese. Just make sure to seal the stuffed ball tightly.
5. Roll the balls to make a paratha.
6. On a hot pan, cook the paratha till it becomes golden- brown.

Enjoy the cheezy paratha

Punjabi Paratha

Aloo paratha and onion parathas are too mainstream. Try mixing them together with some desi masalas.
Ingredients:

● Mashed potatoes
● Chopped onions
● Chopped green chillies
● Oil
● Salt to taste
● Red chilli powder
● Garam masala

Procedure

1. In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes, chopped onions, chilies and salt.
2. In a frying pan, add 4 tbsp oil, and pour the mixture. Let it cook for sometime. After it gets golden, add red powder, garam masala,and salt.
3. Pour the hot mixture on a flat plate to let it cool.
4. After it is cooled down, make balls of the stuffing and fill in the paratha dough.
5. On a separate pan, spread some oil, and cook the paratha for 2-3 minutes.

After it gets golden, serve it hot. It tastes amazing with sweet curd.
