6 DISHES WITH SOYA CHAAP

Vegetarian soya chaap, is the Indian version of substitute meat in the West and tofu in the East. Soya chaap is delicious and appealing to both vegans and vegetarians. Chops, also known as chaap, are the slices of meat eaten from the ribs in non-vegetarian cuisine. The product is known as soya chaap or soy chaap stick because it resembles a chaap or chop when the prepared vegetarian soya chaap is wrapped on ice-cream sticks.
For vegeterians, chaap is a very good substitute. And there are a lot of variations that you can add to chaap.
Here is a list of Soya chaap dishes that you must try:
1. MALAI CHAAP

Malai chap is a very famous snack which is made by adding creamy marination to the cooked chap. Malai chaap as the name says, is completely coated in malai or creamy marination, mixed with spices like pepper, red chillies, salt etc.
The marination is made with fresh curd, and cream, and it is whisked until it is creamy.
Other spices like powdered cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cloves, and other spices blended well in cream are used to make the marination delicious. The chap is either fried or baked over coals to improve its flavour.
Usually the chaap is served with green chutney and sliced onions.
1. MASALA CHAAP

The texture of soya chaap is similar to the chickenand capacity to soak on the flavor of the curry. The soya meat also gives the vegetarian cuisine a lot of variation. This chaap dish is loaded with masalas and has a hot flavor. Fry your chaap pieces first, then add curd, red chili powder, coriander powder, chaat masalas, pepper, and a little bit of turmeric to the sauce. They should be thoroughly combined before resting.
After pan frying these chaap pieces, serve it with chutney and enjoy.
