SABARMATI ASHRAM
This ashram, also called the Gandhi Ashram, Harijan Ashram, or Satyagraha Ashram, is situated along the Sabarmati River. After returning from South Africa and beginning his work in khadi udyog, agriculture, and animal husbandry, Mahatma Gandhi constructed this ashram.
Many of his personal belongings, such as his spectacles, slippers, and novels, are on display. There is an art gallery here as well as a library with about 35,000 books in Gujarati, Hindi, and English. Sabarmati Ashram has the distinction of serving as the starting place of the famous Dandi March, a pivotal event in the movement for Indian independence.

KANKARIYA LAKE
It was constructed in the fifteenth century by Sultans Muhammad Shah and Ahmed Shah II, and since it served as the primary location for royal baths during that time, it even had a water filtration system. They are unable to explain why, when one minaret shakes, the other one starts to vibrate as well, despite the connecting corridor between the two remaining vibration-free. There are two minarets; one is near Kalupur Railway Station and the other is in Sarangpur Darwaja. They were unable to fix the engineering, and it was impossible to return them to their previous state.
ADALJ STEPWELL
Throughout Gujarat, there are countless step wells, or vavs, and Ahmedabad has one of the best. The most well-known in the city is the Adalaj step well. Rudabai, the wife of one of the great chiefs of the city, built it around 1499. Platforms and galleries that view down into the octagonal well’s depth are elaborately carved into each level of the step well. It is a stunning building that is five stories deep. The well’s deep turquoise waters may be seen from the fifth level, which is particularly beautiful.
