Mumbai, India – Renowned Mumbai-based filmmaker Subhash Ghai and his spouse Mukta Ghai recently celebrated their wedding anniversary in style, hosting a grand dinner party that brought together some of the most iconic stars from Ghai’s classic film, Khalnayak. The exclusive event was attended by none other than Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, and Anupam Kher, who were pivotal figures in the blockbuster film.

Instagram was abuzz with nostalgia as Madhuri Dixit’s husband, Dr. Shriram Nene, who was also present at the gala, took to the photo-sharing platform to extend warm wishes. Khalnayak remains one of Subhash Ghai’s most beloved films, known in part for its iconic song “Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai,” featuring Madhuri Dixit and Neena Gupta. In 2020, Subhash Ghai had hinted at a Khalnayak sequel during an interview with Mumbai Mirror, saying, “For the last six-seven months, we have only been creating content, and now, I’m ready with two bound scripts – a sequel to Khal Nayak and a remake of my first directorial, Kalicharan.” However, there has been no official update on the progress of these projects to date.
