Trailer Of Chef Tarla Dalal’s Biopic Starring ‘Huma Qureshi’ Released
Tarla, a forthcoming biography starring actor Huma Qureshi, has debuted its official teaser. Huma published the trailer on Instagram on Friday and added a caption., “It’s here !!! Life mein kuch karne ki khaas recipe aap bhi note kar lijiye (Note down the special recipe for doing something in life)! Trailer out now! #Tarla on #ZEE5, premiers 7th July.”
The lengthy teaser depicts the motivating journey of well-known Indian chef Tarla Dalal. Sharib Hashmi plays Tarla’s spouse, while Huma Qureshi plays Tarla. Due to the inclusion of her spouse and family, the teaser also provides a glimpse into her personal life. Tarla is a character who longs to do “something” in her life but is unable to follow her passion.
After being married for more than ten years and having children, she discovers her love for cooking and transitions from an amateur to a professional cook. She eventually starts culinary classes and appears on TV shows. Piyush Gupta is Tarla’s director, and Ronnie Screwvala, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, and Nitesh Tiwari are Tarla’s producers. ZEE5 will start streaming the movie on July 7.
Huma previously stated as quoted by news agency ANI., “Tarla Dalal reminds me of my childhood. My mom had a copy of her book in the kitchen and would often try many of her recipes for my school tiffin. I also clearly remember the time when I helped mom make Tarla’s homemade mango ice cream. This role has taken me back to those sweet childhood memories and I am very thankful to Ronnie, Ashwini and Nitesh for having faith in me to play this awe-inspiring character.”
