PLOT
Ravindra is a goofy young lawyer whom no one seems to take seriously. But behind the surface, he is more complex. Along with some stupid humor, Ravanasura begins like any other movie starring Ravi Teja.
As the layers are exposed, it becomes clear that Ravindra may be connected to some of the people he is surrounded by. In addition, Sudheer skips over specific crucial details here while initially taking his sweet time making jokes about Ravindra and Mahalakshmi’s relationship. Everything keeps moving when the second half begins until a fairly predictable flashback is introduced.

Sudheer Varma aims to create an entertaining film. This movie is a hot mess since the director seems to ramble on details that don’t require in-depth explanation and hurry through crucial plot elements.
Characters include a policewoman named Ruhana, an enigmatic man named Saketh, Jaanu, Keethana, and others who appear and disappear from the movie as the script sees fit. ACP Hanumanth Rao, who is set to retire but is assigned to a significant investigation involving numerous killings, is another.
While some degree of the cinematic license is expected, Sudheer wants you to assume that there are no chinks in the logic, not just a bit too much. To bolster the movie’s title, a Ram-Sita-Ravanasura perspective is used. By the end, you wonder where this is all going because the entire thing smells like a poor thriller from the 1990s.
Due to Ravi Teja’s accomplishments, Ravanasura is just barely saved. Although he might like doing the entire masala routine, he finds himself when a particular aspect of his personality is shown. Even if Sudheer tests the character to the maximum, his arguments aren’t convincing enough. Despite the film’s abundance of characters, the remaining performers don’t make much of an impact. Sushanth has a slightly stronger personality and can hold his own.
The background music, composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, enhances the action and is occasionally quite remarkable. The songs from Bheems Ceciroleo don’t add anything new, and their forced placement makes them appear like a hassle. Both the cinematography and the editing of Vijay Karthik Kannan are excellent. However, the film’s writing is its worst flaw.

There are times in Ravanasura when it is much more than a mediocre attempt at a thriller. However, because they are so infrequent and fleeting, this isn’t worth watching for that reason alone. These factors cause it to receive two out of five total ratings.

After a six-week theatrical run, it is anticipated to be distributed on Amazon Prime Video.
