“Mass Maharaja” Ravi Teja Promises a Powerful Comeback with Mass Jathara — Suriya Joins as Special Guest at the Grand Pre-Release Event

After a string of box-office disappointments, Ravi Teja looks to regain his form with Mass Jathara, a high-voltage entertainer backed by a star-studded celebration and renewed faith from fans.

Telugu superstar Ravi Teja, fondly called the “Mass Maharaja,” is gearing up for a much-needed comeback with his upcoming action entertainer Mass Jathara. The actor, known for his energetic screen presence, openly acknowledged during the pre-release event that his recent films haven’t lived up to expectations, and assured fans that this one would be different.

At the grand event held in Hyderabad, Tamil superstar Suriya attended as the chief guest, adding to the excitement. Addressing his fans, Ravi Teja said with heartfelt honesty, “My fans, I have irritated you a lot. This time, I will not disappoint you — this is my promise.” His words struck a chord, hinting at a renewed determination to reclaim his blockbuster streak.

Directed by debutant Bhanu Bhogavarapu, Mass Jathara is touted as an out-and-out commercial entertainer packed with mass action, comedy, and drama. The film reunites Ravi Teja with actress Sreeleela, his co-star from Dhamaka, which was his last major hit. Actor Naveen Chandra reportedly plays the antagonist, while Bheems Ceciroleo has composed the film’s energetic soundtrack.

Produced by S. Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas, the movie’s technical team includes cinematographer Vidhu Ayyanna and editor Navin Nooli. The film has faced a few schedule changes — initially planned for an August release, it is now officially set to hit theatres on October 31, 2025, with 6 PM premieres scheduled a day earlier.

During the event, Ravi Teja expressed his gratitude toward the technicians and made a special mention of producer Naga Vamsi, promising to share more during the success meet. Suriya, too, praised the team’s passion, calling the film a “mass celebration in the making.”
