Samyuktha Joins Vijay Sethupathi’s Pan-India Film Directed by Puri Jagannadh

With Tabu and Duniya Vijay Kumar also in key roles, the untitled film—rumored to be titled Beggar—gears up to begin shooting by late June.

Actress Samyuktha has officially boarded director Puri Jagannadh’s much-anticipated pan-India film starring Tamil powerhouse Vijay Sethupathi. Known for her roles in big projects like Akhanda 2 and Swayambhu, Samyuktha is reportedly thrilled about her character in this new venture, citing a strong script and promising character arc.

Though the film’s official title is yet to be confirmed, the working hashtag “#PunSethupathi” has already sparked speculation. Titles like Beggar and Bhavati Bhiksham Denil are being tossed around, fueling rumors that Sethupathi might be taking on the role of a beggar in what appears to be an intense and gritty drama.

The cast also includes prominent names from across Indian cinema. Veteran Bollywood actress Tabu is said to be playing a pivotal role, while Kannada actor Duniya Vijay Kumar is also set to appear in the film, making this a truly pan-India collaboration.

Currently, the production team has wrapped up extensive location scouting in Chennai and Hyderabad. With key shoot sites now locked in, the film is expected to begin principal photography in the last week of June.
