‘Hai Junoon’ Set to Ignite Screens with Musical Showdown at Andersons College

JioHotstar is gearing up to release its latest original series, Hai Junoon – Dream. Dare. Dominate, a high-energy musical drama set against the vibrant backdrop of Mumbai’s fictional Andersons College. Premiering on May 16, the series delves into the intense rivalry between two college dance crews vying for supremacy in a prestigious competition .

Directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Jio Creative Labs, the show features Jacqueline Fernandez as Pearl Saldanha, the passionate mentor of the underdog crew “The Misfits,” and Neil Nitin Mukesh as Gagan Ahuja, the disciplined leader of the elite “SuperSonics” . The narrative follows Sebi, portrayed by Sumedh Mudgalkar, who, under Pearl’s guidance, challenges the status quo by forming a rebellious dance group to compete against the established SuperSonics .

The ensemble cast includes Boman Irani, Siddharth Nigam, Priyank Sharma, and several emerging talents, bringing depth to this coming-of-age story that explores themes of ambition, identity, and self-discovery through the lens of music and dance .
