Kartik Aaryan to Star in ‘Naagzilla’: A Dual Role Comedy Set for 2026 Release

Following the success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, Aaryan teams up with Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and Mahaveer Jain for a mythological comedy featuring a unique double role.

After the massive success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in 2024, Kartik Aaryan is set to headline Naagzilla, a mythological comedy directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Mahaveer Jain. The film is scheduled to begin production in September 2025 and aims for a theatrical release in the second half of 2026.

Naagzilla promises a humorous take on the classic human-versus-snake narrative, with Aaryan portraying two distinct characters. The film’s storyline is expected to blend elements of mythology with contemporary comedy, offering audiences a fresh cinematic experience.

Aaryan announced the project on Instagram, sharing a motion poster with the caption:

This film adds to Aaryan’s growing slate, which already includes the romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, and an untitled romantic musical with director Anurag Basu.

With Naagzilla, Kartik Aaryan continues to diversify his career, taking on experimental roles that blend mainstream appeal with innovative storytelling.
