Kull: A Royal Legacy Drenched in Secrets and Power Struggles

The upcoming JioHotstar original series Kull – The Legacy of the Raisingghs offers a haunting glimpse into the concealed turmoil of a royal family entangled in secrets, betrayal, and power struggles. Directed by Sahir Raza and produced by Ekta R. Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the Balaji Digital banner, the series features a stellar cast including Nimrat Kaur, Amol Parashar, Ridhi Dogra, Gaurav Arora, Rohit Tiwari, and Rahul Vohra.
The recently released teaser introduces viewers to the complex dynamics of the Raisinggh family. Nimrat Kaur portrays Indirani, a character she describes as “layered, guarded, fierce, and complex.” In the teaser, Indirani asserts her dominance, declaring, “I have absolute power.” Amol Parashar and Ridhi Dogra also feature prominently, each staking their claim within the family’s hierarchy.
Director Sahir Raza emphasizes that Kull transcends traditional thriller narratives, delving into the psychological and emotional ramifications of generational secrets. He describes the series as “a descent into the dark corners families dare not speak of,” highlighting themes of silence, guilt, and buried truths.
Set to premiere exclusively on JioHotstar on May 2, 2025, Kull promises a compelling exploration of familial legacies and the shadows they cast.
