Pan-Indian star Prabhas has embarked on a new cinematic journey with director Hanu Raghavapudi for an upcoming period action drama, tentatively titled ‘Fauji’. In this film, Prabhas will portray the role of a soldier, delving into a narrative that intertwines intense action sequences with a poignant romantic storyline.

The ensemble cast has been further enriched by the inclusion of critically acclaimed Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher, who has taken on a pivotal role in the project. Expressing his enthusiasm, Kher shared on social media, “Delighted to announce my 544th untitled film with the Baahubali of Indian cinema, the one and only Prabhas! The film is directed by the very talented Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by the wonderful team at Mythri Movie Makers! My very dear friend and brilliant Sudeep Chatterjee is the DOP! It’s a superb story. What else do you want in life, my friends?”

The film introduces newcomer Imanvi as the female lead, adding a fresh dynamic to the story. Music for ‘Fauji’ is being composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, known for his evocative scores, aiming to enhance the film’s emotional and dramatic depth.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, ‘Fauji’ is being crafted on a massive budget, reflecting the team’s commitment to delivering a high-quality cinematic experience. Elaborate sets have been constructed to authentically depict the historical backdrop of the narrative. The production schedule faced some delays due to an injury sustained by Prabhas, but filming has now resumed in full swing.

In addition to ‘Fauji’, Prabhas is also nearing the completion of ‘Raja Saab’, directed by Maruthi, showcasing his dedication to offering diverse roles to his audience.

With its compelling cast and crew, ‘Fauji’ is poised to be a significant addition to Prabhas’s filmography, promising audiences a blend of action, romance, and historical drama when it hits the screens next year.
