Robert Pattinson Confirms ‘The Batman Part II’ Filming to Commence Late 2025

Sequel’s Release Pushed to October 2027 Amid Script Development Delays

Robert Pattinson has confirmed that filming for The Batman Part II is set to begin at the end of 2025. The sequel, initially slated for an earlier release, has been pushed to October 1, 2027, as director Matt Reeves continues refining the script to ensure a compelling follow-up to the 2022 blockbuster.

Reeves has emphasized that the extended timeline will allow for a deeper, more intricate narrative, expanding on the dark and gritty world of Gotham City. While plot details remain under wraps, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, and Colin Farrell are expected to return alongside Pattinson.

Fans are eagerly awaiting updates, especially after Serkis teased that he was “as hungry for it as everyone else” and that Reeves’ vision for the sequel was “exciting and surprising.” With the first film earning nearly $800 million worldwide and receiving three Oscar nominations, expectations for the follow-up remain high.

In the meantime, Pattinson is set to work on Christopher Nolan’s upcoming Odyssey movie, further solidifying his position as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after leading men.
