Kristen Bell to Host 31st SAG Awards: A Night of Glamour and Celebration

The beloved actress and star of Netflix’s hit series Nobody Wants This returns to the SAG Awards stage after a stellar year in TV and film.
Kristen Bell, the versatile star of Frozen and The Good Place, is set to host the 31st annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, streaming live on Netflix on February 23 from Los Angeles. This marks Bell’s second time hosting the prestigious event, having previously helmed the awards in 2018.
“Thrilled to be hosting the SAG Awards again this year,” Bell shared in a press release. “I’m honored to be asked back and can’t wait to share the evening with my fellow actors, doing what we do best … celebrating ourselves.”
The SAG Awards, renowned for spotlighting the best in film and television, continue to draw attention as one of Hollywood’s premier events. Earlier this year, the 30th SAG Awards crowned Oppenheimer in its coveted Cast category, setting the stage for its eventual Best Picture win at the Oscars, while Succession and The Bear led the television honors.
Bell has been riding a wave of success, co-starring with Adam Brody in Netflix’s romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This. The show debuted in September to massive acclaim, earning 26.2 million views within 11 days and becoming one of Netflix’s strongest original comedy launches. Renewed for a second season in October, the series has garnered both Bell and Brody Golden Globe and Critics Choice nominations for their performances.
Nominations for the 31st SAG Awards will be announced on January 8, with the winners revealed during the live ceremony. With Bell at the helm, viewers can expect an evening filled with wit, charm, and celebration of the best in the industry.
